Samuel Mluge (49yrs) an albino rights activist and his wife Teresa January have five children, all with albinism. Albinism is a recessive gene but when two carriers of the gene have a child it has a one in four chance of getting albinism. Before the Tanzanian Albino Society formed, the stigma of albinism was so huge that even people with albinism didn't like to be seen together.
