Peruzi (3yrs), Grace (11yrs) and Jonasi Yanera (6yrs) are the only three of a family of nine children to have albinism. Rural life is toughest for people with albinism as it involves hard work outdoors in the sun. People with albinism have no pigmentation in their skin so are unprotected from the sun's UV rays. The recent killings in the area make them very vulnerable in the remote village where they live. When their parents aren't at home they stay hidden in the house. Mwanza, Tanzania. 2008
